Discovery Rangers is a fun and exciting program for boys in third, fourth, and fifth-grade. Not only does the boy get to discover great indoor and outdoor activities, he will get to make many new friends.

Being a Discovery Ranger will give a boy many chances to do new things. He will learn new skills, like camping, building models, giving first aid, and cooking. He will learn about the great outdoors and about God and His Word.

Royal Rangers will give him the chance to be rewarded for finishing merits and steps on the Advancement Trail. There are several ways to earn the merits on the Trail to the Eagle. Some of the merits will be earned during the weekly meetings, while others will require extra effort outside of meeting times. The merits can be earned in any order, and while the Gold Eagle has specific merits that are required, the other merits that are earned are up to the individual Ranger's choice.

Discovery Rangers meet every Wednesday at 7 p.m.
